Kessel will be the last piece dealt.

IF hes moved, its likely this offseason unless something significant changes.

Allegedly Nazem is going to be given every opportunity to prove he can play in that 1C role and earn his contract demands, as this managment allegedly views Bozak as a 2C at maximum.

Should Nazem play poorly yet keep his contract demands in tact (5.5+) then we may see him moved. That could be the biggest shuffle up front outside of Lupul.

Our focus is allgedly the back end. Phaneuf and Franson are going to be moved at some point.

Due to Dions health, my moneys on Franson being the first shipped out. Look towards Colorado, Dallas or Anaheim as his potential destinations in the coming week(s).

Dion is an asset that the Leafs are indeed looking to move. He already blocked a trade out West, and now this deal with LAK has fallen apart, but isnt dead.

It will likely be revisited towards mid-end of February when his prognosis is a bit clearer. Leafs will likely be eating salary on this move, but youthful and NHL ready assets will be returning.

Should his broken hand not heal within 3-4 weeks then we will see him as the primary focus this off-season and the likes of Franson, Booth and potentially Gardiner as prime candidates to head out to contenders looking for players that fill a need.
